This lovingly restored 1960's home has been furnished and decorated take evoke memories and transport guests back in time. Entering the house invariably prompts exclamations like "This is just like my Nan's house was.", "I remember those!" or "We had one just like that!". This is a house to be lived in and enjoyed. The open plan indoor/outdoor living spaces provide the perfect environment to rela

x and unwind. Located in the quiet village of Erowal Bay on St George's Basin, the house is perfectly located to take advantage of all the natural beauty and activities of the Jervis Bay area. With kangaroos literally at your doorstep you can just sit back and appreciate the serenity or get out and experience beautiful beaches, walking, fishing, boating or the nearby cafe culture. THE HOUSE FEATURES:

- A well equipped retro kitchen diner - including 1950s working refrigerator, stove and
even a fondue.

- Open plan lounge room featuring a retro radio/record player equip with records from
the era to enjoy and even magazines from the 60s & 70s - really entertaining reading!

- Polished floorboards throughout.

- TV/kids room featuring - a 1950s TV set (fitted with a flat screen TV/DVD)
- an old fashioned classroom area
- retro toys, books and games

- Bedroom 1 - Queen sized bed
- Bedroom 2 - Double bed with single bed bunk above.
- Bedroom 3 - 2 x single beds
**There is also a fold out double bed sofa (1960s 'click clack lounge) in the separate
TV/Kids room.

- LINEN IS NOT SUPPLIED so please ensure you bring sheets, pillow cases and
towels. Linen services are available locally if you wish to arrange it -
Bay Linen Hire or Aroma Linen Service. Doonas and pillows are provided in bedrooms only.

- Large bathroom with bath, separate shower, double vanity, hairdryer and WC.

- Covered front deck with outdoor dining setting, Webber BBQ and sun-lounges.

- Drive right up to the backdoor ramp access. All rooms and front deck are on a single
level.

- Plenty of parking for boat trailers in large front and back yards.

Very clean and well presented. Retro at the Bay is well equipped, has a great little play/TV room as well as comfortable and fun living room. We loved the nostalgia trip, the kangaroos on the lawn in the morning, and the generous front verandah.

This is a fun and wonderful place to stay at Erowal Bay. Aside from its meticulous art deco furnishings, the house is fully equipped with all things to prepare for serious meals, bbq, and fun gatherings. We will certainly return to do more bushwalking tracks and laze around the white sandy beaches. The place is well cared for and spotless for the next visitors.

Retro at the Bay is a fabulous holiday house - and as the name suggests the look and feel is fabulously retro, right down to the smallest details. The kids had a great time, and loved the playroom - and the kangaroos! The detailed information book was very very useful. A very relaxing spot!

We've had two families stay at "Retro at the Bay" now and they've both left super lovely comments. So encouraging after so much work. I dropped around some hot water bottles (in cute knitted covers) the other day as the evenings are getting a little cooler. The young couple from the Netherlands had been reading books on the sun lounges on the front deck and were cooking dinner for their little daughter in the 1950s kitchen. It just looked 'right'! Only one more booking made at the moment so tell your friends to look us up on Stayz (blatant plug sorry!)
