Gerard Murphy Furniture Gallery gives you the opportunity to add another dimension to your home (or the home of someone you like quite a bit) by purchasing or commissioning a truly unique piece of Timber As Art. Each piece holds within itself something of the Southern Grampians, such as a hint of the craggy, protuberant Mount Abrupt or the cradling embrace of the Victoria Valley seen from high on

the flank of Mount Sturgeon. Like the surging mountains, some of the furniture is visually dynamic, embodying direction and movement.

Magnificent dining setting. Sit comfortably at this square outrigger table and admire the beauty of the figured Marri timber in the expanse of the top and the sturdy turned legs. The setting is completed with eight 'Straight up' (our original design) chairs in highly figured Messmate.

FAQ in the showroom: Is the timber local? Short answer, usually, no. BUT! as an exception we're milling this timber from a very old (600years?) Redgum that toppled. The figure is magnificent. When dry it will be as good as Redgum gets!

Don't you love the curves? This is a dining table like no other. A 'one-off'. Mountain Ash and Redgum combine beautifully. Simple extension mechanism creates more seating. Now for sale in our showroom. Come and see it! POA. We're open Sat & Sun.
