About the Role
We are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Automotive Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position for a motivated technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on light vehicles
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
• Perform engine, brake, suspension, and transmission repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards
• Maintain accurate job records and report findings to management
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to maintain efficiency and productivity

Requirements
• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic
• Relevant industry certification or equivalent qualification
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Current driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred (but not essential)
• Experience with modern diagnostic systems
• Roadworthy inspection certification
