A very happy client recently sent a couple of photos of her reclaimed timber table with the toughened glass on top.

It looks FANTASTIC and she is over the moon with the end product !!

Fishing has been pretty good lately... so I haven't been in the garage working on my latest table. These flatties were both let go to live another day. 🦎

The weather has been great for fishing over the past couple of weeks, but I have now finished table no. 4.... built from recycled/reclaimed hardwood timbers that have a lighter, blonder hue than my previous table, but with the same rustic presence.

This table is 2400L x 1200W x 800H in size - with the top recessed 8mm to take 6-8mm toughened glass top. It will seat 6-8 people comfortably and will be a statement piece of furniture for those of you who love the rural aesthetic.

To complete the table and help preserve the timber; I have finished it off by oiling it with two coats of marine grade pure natural oil which has Tung nut and citrus with Beeswax - bringing the character of the old timber out beautifully.

Mark Kerin is a recently retired sheep breeder and farmer from Central Western, New South Wales. Mark's career was dedicated to wool classing for almost 50 years with a reputation for breeding quality stock.

Mark, now retired to the sunny Central Coast of New South Wales, is turning his hand to a project he has long wanted to dive into.

Developing and crafting quality custom wool tables for homes with a love of farmyard aesthetic has become Mark's newest endeavour when the fish aren't quite biting in Brisbane Water.

Mark is drawn to the Australian wool classing table due to the rich history and the integral role it plays in a working woolshed. Work on my 4th table has started. It is being made from reclaimed timber again, but will be lighter in colour than the previous beautiful table.
I love the challenges of working with reclaimed timber and the end result is spectacular.

The recycled timber looks fantastic in my latest reproduced wool-table style of dining or office table.!!
