Got to back the people that back you.

Thank you to Bartley Diesel Contracting for their many years of support behind our draft. Running a campdraft takes a fair bit of work, a good crew… and a few great sponsors who are willing to back you year after year. Bartley Diesel Contracting have been doing just that and we’re incredibly grateful to have them supporting Gidgeefield. People like this are what help keep our event growing and the tradition alive. We appreciate you more than you know! 🤠🐎

We are full swing into the 2025 cotton pre season with 6 done and 10 more to go. The boys have been battling the elements from rain to mid 40 degree days. Big thanks to the guys at Plant & Pick Spares for always supplying me with the best spare parts to fit to customers machines. 🚜🔧

How amazing is it what the Reithmuller family, sponsor and volunteers have done over the years of hold this event. I am so grateful I could have been part of it for so many years.

It’s been a week since our Black Tie Ball and we are overwhelmed with gratitude as we reflect on the incredible journey we've shared over the past nine years hosting fundraising events for St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital Oncology, Cancer Council Queensland and LifeFlight. From Hawaiian Bowls Days to the Hawaiian Pig Races, and our grand finale, Jacko’s Black Tie Charity Ball “The Last Hooroo,” each event has been a testament to the power of community and compassion. ✨

Together, we've achieved something truly remarkable, setting a new record with $63,000 raised at our final Black Tie Ball held last Saturday. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without your support and generosity.

As we look back on this journey, we're humbled by the impact we've made, raising a total of $261,803 from our events. Each dollar raised has contributed to the vital work of organisations dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer and medical emergencies.

2016 Bowls - $4300
2017 Bowls - $5650
2018 Bowls - $9050
2019 Bowls - $9303
2020 Pig Races - $20500
2021 Pig Races - $50000
2022 Pig Races - $58000
2023 Pig Races/Bowls - $42000
2024 Black Tie Ball - $63000

TOTAL $261803 🤍

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed, whether through donations, volunteering, or attending our events. Your support has made a huge difference in the lives of countless individuals and families.

As we bid farewell to this chapter, we invite you all to continue making a difference wherever you can. Whether it's through supporting similar events or initiating your own, the power to effect change lies within each of us. If anyone feels inspired to take on a fundraising endeavor, know that we are here to offer guidance and support.

For now, we say “hooroo,” but our spirit of giving and community will continue.

With deepest gratitude,
The Riethmuller Family

Bartley’s Diesel Contracting had the honour of sponsoring Jackos Day again which this year they held a black tie ball as the final event. The Riethmuller family is always giving out awards so i thought it was only fair that I organise a farewell gift for them on behalf of everyone. Also got to sponsor the Maiden event at Gidgeefield Campdraft for the first time and help out over the weekend when needed. It was an amazing weekend and credit to Joe and Jen Sommerfield for all the work they put into the draft and hopefully be back sponsoring it again next year.
