Not an ideal situation.
Customer just spent $580 on a genuine MFD solenoid, I climb under machine to pull old one out, customer hands me a box with replacement solenoid to fit. Box had tape one end - not entirely uncommon for JD parts in my experience, I then realise it is a used solenoid.

Yet another Job to come back to, and probably another 5-10 days before a new part arrives.

Sad news from back home in Naracoorte. Yesterday we heard of the passing of Steve Mark from Top Mark Machinery. Steve was instrumental in helping me develop into the tradesman I am now, standing by me through trouble and stife when I was a lad, and also the good times of course.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lindy, Larissa, Nick and the Top Mark Machinery family.
Rest in Peace Steve, and Thank you.

Living at Banora Point in Northern NSW, we service the Tweed valley and Tweed Coast. All work is currently done on-site out the back our trusty 4WD.
