♻️🏚️ Just Took Down A 100+ Year Old Shed ♻️🪵

Built in 1923, this 70-metre railway shed was something to behold.

But after a century of service, it had reached the end of its life due to a few factors, one being beyond practical repair.

That said… there was no way the materials worth saving were going to waste.

The drawcard for me?
Old-growth Oregon timber spanning over 11 metres, which would have made its way here by trans-Pacific timber ships from North America (USA & Canada) in the early 20th century.

Most of it I’d say will end up back out in the world as wool classing tables which is exactly what some of it was used for back in the day.
