Old table transformed into a new heirloom.
Old shed becoming my new workshop.
Old timber behind me about to become new tables.

It’s been a continuing theme around here.

And despite my best efforts, I’m getting older too, although I reckon there’s a new chapter going on as well…. I’ve upped my content a bit with doing reels this year.

📈⬆️ Levelling Up!💪🏽🔨

A concrete floor is not the most exciting thing to post about, but for me it’s a big milestone.

For years, Porter and Wood has operated from relatively small old farm sheds, and operating in them has been a bit like pushing sh*t up hill at times.

This month the new workshop which is more than TWICE the size as my current shed took a big step forward with the floor now complete.

It’s the kind of upgrade that won’t be noticed in the finished product, but it’ll make a difference every day in how I make it happen!

I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunities and support so far (including from many of you here) that have helped keep the dream alive, and I’m bloody excited for what’s coming eg heaps of wool classing tables 🐑

Plenty still to do, but it’s starting to take shape.
