They don’t call it a sun room for nothing. Favourite room in the cottage. Painted white floors ✅ for anyone skeptical about floors scratching. I can confirm we have continuously moved these chairs around plus other pieces and that floor ain’t budging. Light, bright and looks amazing. timber floor paint.

Painted White floor update: Floors are finished in our little cottage and I’m so glad I painted them. This room is my favourite in the house. With three different timbers all going on I now feel it flows better painted and the room feels and looks a lot bigger. I tried floor paint for the first time. Water based, fast drying and I would use it again in a heart beat. After a good week of curing it’s time to move the furniture in and decorate.

The most beautiful morning. If you’re planning a visit to Tenterfield now is the time. The leaves have started to change colour already. There’s a cooler start to the mornings but the days are glorious. I only open our studio up on Airbnb every now and then and I have guests arriving this weekend.
