We arrived this afternoon in Auckland New Zealand for the Hydraulink Hose and Fitting conference 2026
After checking in, we headed to Hydraulink HQ and conducted a full tour of their facility including the hose and fitting testing room
They they conducted a display for us taking a 3/4” 6000 Enduro hydraulink hose to total burst which was
25,375 psi just under 1800bar was nuts
And yes, it did go pop.

Every day is certainly different in what we do
and this afternoons request was all that.

After reaching our pin drop location, it was time to grab a bag full of tools and put on the walking feet.

30mins later, we reached our client in World Trail & Contour Works, Repairing reconstructing the bike trails up around the Smithfield Hills area in readiness for the Crank Works Event later in the year. 
We are so glad to play a small part.

Just a normal day in the hose and fittings game and you ask yourself how does this happen?

Well I can tell you, I was called to clean up the mess.
(for the record we quoted these hose replacements)

There’s no substitute for knowledge, experience, care and know how in this game, these guys used another provider and this is result.

Please check out the last two photos, this is how the hoses are meant to be run and done, using the original hoses, but just routed properly.
I’m sure we’ll be back to replace them all, but for now there’s no anymore downtime.

We are faced with challenges every single day at on-site services.

How we find solutions for our customers sets us apart from the rest. This bin lifter fault was 4 mtrs above ground level.

A chain tension issue allowed the hydraulic tube to be damaged.

Quick phone call to our friends at Tutt Bryant Hire and they set us up with a scissor lift.

With a totaly enclose pulley system, we had no option but to think outside the box to exposed the damage tube.

We fabricated a replacement tube on-site, topped up the hydraulic oil and it was back in action
Counting all your cans for a healthy refund.

We had our customer up and running with a limitless amount of disrupture.
