Timbers: Oak, Rockmaple, Myrtle, Jarrah, Spotted Gum, Blackbutt, Blackwood, Beech, Red Gum planks, American Walnut and more. Veneers: Jarrah, Myrtle Blackwood, Oak, Red Gum, Spotted Gum and more.

Surfacing: Clear lacquer, gloss/satin finish, standard/gallery oil finish. Glass available for table tops and timber doors.

OUR STORY

THE BUSINESS

We specialise as custom designers and makers of free standing timber furniture. Trading since 1982, we have built an excellent reputation for quality custom made furniture.

With 13 specialist staff, we have long established our business in a specialised area of the furniture industry with design flexibility, manufacturing expertise and customer service.

Combining these with the latest available furniture hardware and superior quality timber materials, we have reached a level of top quality production designs, while still retaining the ability for our clients to customise furniture to perfectly suit their requirements.

THE WORKSHOP

Our Uneke Furniture workshop is located in the quiet country town of Bungendore, in the New South Wales Southern Tablelands.

Using the combination of our up to date workshop, fully set up for the production of timber furniture, our award winning cabinetmakers produce timber furniture available for sale through our Uneke Furniture showroom in Fyshwick, ACT.

Working with the finest Australian Hardwoods, our workshop can build any piece in the extensive range in any of the listed timber species, with modification if necessary, or manufacture furniture to customer’s specific designs and requirements.

THE SHOWROOM

The Uneke Furniture showroom is located in Barrier Street, Fyshwick. With around 500 square metres of floor space, the showroom has a large sample of designs developed and built by us, as well as a range of soft furnishings, prints, ornaments and craft items to compliment every style of furniture.

The showroom also has various samples of fabrics, glass finishes, timber samples and associated hardware products to coordinate all the aspects involved in the design of a custom piece of furniture specifically for the customer’s requirements.

Our showroom is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 5 pm for sales and enquiries, we also open from 9am to 4pm Saturdays, with our specialist sales staff and our furniture designer and maker from the factory present to answer any clients technical issues, design custom made furniture and do quotes on the spot for customised pieces.
