At The Leather & Timber Doctor we repair cuts, tears, scuffs, dents and colour damage, whether it be a settee, car interior, timber furniture, boat seats or caravan interior, we aim to provide the very best service to you. We also do onsite upholstery repairs including foam replacement, frame repairs, webbing repairs, hand sewing, mechanism repairs and more. On almost all occasions these can be do

ne in your own home, saving you time and unnecessary damage and cost to your furniture. We also offer a leather cleaning and resealing service. Most leather settees and car seats have a water based top coat colour which breaks down quickly if not cleaned correctly. A regular professional clean and condition will help make your leather last longer by looking after this top coat. On some occasions the leather sealer and colour may have started to wear off. We can put this back on and get you back on track again which will save you having to replace the item. This will make it look as good as new and you will then be equipped with the correct knowledge to keep on top of the maintenance. The other service available is ceramic and stone repairs. These are very helpful when you have dropped something and it chips that floor tile or your work top in the kitchen. A lot of our repair systems can be adapted to other scenarios. For instance a chip in a timber door or floor. Maybe a wall plug hole that needs covering back up and you don’t have the colour paint anymore. Maybe a chip in the laminate work top in the kitchen or a tear in the vinyl flooring. Maybe you want to sell your car and the leather, vinyl and plastics need to look fresh. Did you know we restore car seats aswell?

Here's a job I did on Thursday down south near Dunsborough.

The customer had this Range Rover Passenger seat that the leather was cracked and was very worn down.

So I began by giving it a deep clean, sanding down, filling the damaged areas, then gave it a fresh new coat of colour.

The end result was great and the customer was over the moon.

All done at his place of work aswell!

Did you know we do Commercial work aswell?

We recently fitted out Treendale Cafe's seating as they were looking worse for wear.

First we recovered the 4 booth seats on the east side with quality long lasting commercial vinyl and installed new seating foam.
This certainly made a huge difference and will last the Cafe many years to come.

On the West side we were asked to custom make new seating to fit the 2 areas.
We made the boards,bottom and backs and then installed new seating foam and covered with the same commercial vinyl.

These were made to measure and slotted straight into place perfectly.

Again they look fantastic and solved the seating issue the Cafe had.
We even had raving comments when we were installing them at how great they looked from customer 😀.

Here's a bed head and foot section we recovered recently where the vinyl was flaking away.

This is something you see all the time on dinning chairs, couches and in this case beds.

So we normally recover these in quality long lasting commercial vinyl that will never flakes or peel and last the test of time.

The customer decided in this case to splurge on quality leather!

Needless to say the customer was over the moon with the results and can now sleep without waking up to flakes of vinyl in the bedding!🤣

Here's some Jarrah dining chairs we recently recovered.

These were originally a poor quality PU vinyl and were delaminating/peeling quite badly.

So the customer chose to do them in leather. We ordered the leather and recovered the seat and back sections as there were 8 in total.

We picked them up and delivered back the next day all done and ready for dinner time.

Needless to say, the customer was over the moon at how good they looked and also the lovely feel of the leather.

Here's a tub chair we recovered for a customer in Bunbury last week.

The fabric was worn out and seating was flat and uncomfortable.

So we stripped the fabric off, installed new seating foam and recovered with a beautiful blue vinyl.

The vinyl we use is a quality long lasting commercial grade vinyl that is like the vinyl of old.

This stuff is seriously good and will last many years and will not peel.

Needless to say the customer was very happy with the results and even got us to do their couches aswell!

Did know we recover aswell?Here's a suite that we recovered in quality commercial vinyl.

This a long lasting vinyl like the old days. This vinyl is anti microble, anti fungal and UV resistant and will last this customer many years to come and wont peel!

Needless to say the customer was overjoyed at the results and its a huge difference to what they were before. The fabric was stained and faded.

Here's some dinning chairs we recovered recently.

These were poor quality PU vinyl and they were peeling all over.

The customer knew they were a good quality Marri wood and decided to recover them with leather.

They called us, got a quote and we went to work.

We ordered the leather, recovered and delivered back to the customer in a few days.

The customer was very happy with the work and will have many more years of use!

Here's a single leather lift chair we restored a few days ago for a lovely customer in Collie.

The Leather was rotten on the headrest, arms and seats and the seating foam and fillings where very soft and worn out. The colour had also broken down.

So we picked it up, replaced and colour matched the leather, installed new quality long-lasting seating foam, refilled the backrest and arms and gave the rest a flick of colour.

This made it all match to the existing suite aswell.

The customer was overjoyed at the results and saved her buying a new suite for a fraction of the cost.
