#500 Shade Sail Milestone

What an achievement — shade sail #500 since we introduced our CAD-based shade sail design software.

The investment in professional design technology has completely transformed the way we manufacture our sails. The software allows us to create highly accurate 3D models and calculate the exact stretch and tension requirements for every individual sail. This has virtually eliminated the guesswork and given us a much more precise and consistent end product.

For us, this technology has been a real point of difference. Being able to design and manufacture to such a high level of accuracy is something that sets us apart in Broome, and it has made a noticeable difference in how our sails perform — particularly in the harsh Kimberley conditions and high winds. Better design and tensioning not only improves performance but can also help extend the working life of the sail.

A big thank you to Kane, who has been an absolute master at sewing these sails together over the past four years.

THIS IS ONLY OUR ADVICE AND SUGGEST YOU DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH BUT.

In relation to your shade sails we don’t see the current cyclone situation posing a threat to domestic shade sails in Broome.

All shade sails do require periodic resewing, we recommend every 5-7 years depending on different situations , therefore we do see sails split along seams if they are close to this age in less wind conditions .

Should your shade sail be 5+ years and you have taken it down please feel free to contact us for an entire resew of your shade sails. Have a great day .
