If you require your badminton racquet to be re-strung, I can be reached on my mobile phone or alternatively, you can find me at the following locations:

Inala PCYC: Tuesday’s and/or Friday’s between 6-6.30pm. Unfortunately, you are no longer available to leave it with a PCYC staff (head office regulations). I can provide you with options on what racquets may suit your style of play and budget. If

I do not carry the racquet that you are wanting to purchase, I can provide you with a reliable point of contact so that you can get what you need. I have access to also getting Yonex and Gosen if you have a specific request. Cost of stringing (if your own string provided) - $12.00
Cost of stringing (if you don't have strings) - $20.00

If you require next day services, the cost would be $17.00 (if string is provided) and $25.00 (if no string is provided). Please note that we also have services to have your grommets change. If you do require 1 or 2 grommets to be replaced, it will come at no charge. However, if you do require more than 50% of your grommets on the racquet to be changed, a $5 labour fee will apply. On the other hand, if you do wish to replace your grommets that is specific to Yonex, (ie, Yonex Z Force II), there will be a $5 labour fee and also the cost of the original grommets (sold by Yonex in a complete set for each racquet). Please note that any racquets restrung at 28lbs or higher, could compromise the durability of the frame, especially if the racquet is a light headed racquet. All racquets to be strung will be inspected for any visible cracks prior to re-stringing. Grips and racquets are also available for purchase (if not, we will contact the nearest retailer to provide you with a quote).

That time of the year…. All racquets require restringing must be handed in by 3 June 2026.
If not, you may not get your racquet bag until 28 June.
Our stringer will be away in Sydney for the Australian Badminton open as a technical official and then after the tournament, he will be off to Malaysia and Thailand for a week.
We do apologise for any inconvenience caused and greatly appreciate your patience in regards to the break.

It’s that time of the year approaching. The Australian Badminton Open is around the corner. We will be closed from the 7th of June until the 25th of June.
I will be in Thailand and Malaysia for a week for my high school class of 1992 reunion

Exciting news… given workload is up to date, we have managed to update our customer database and by and of today, it will be announced the winner who handed in the 10,000th racquet. Based on the records, this was attained in April 2024. We do apologise for the late update as we have to manually enter the details into the spreadsheet.

The winner will get a Yonex gift pack consisting of a back pack, shoe bag, racquet bag (soft cover), 3-pack AC102 ex grip, face mask, wristband towel, towel and a t-shirt

It’s way too hot today and tomorrow… stringing has been suspended during the day as our air conditioning is broken and yet to be fixed….

Wow! Since returning on Saturday, we have collected 51 racquets so far and more coming in the next few days.
We apologise for any delay but our turnaround time is almost a week.

To our valued customers, we are still receiving a high volume of racquets for restringing. Please be patient with our turnaround times.
From December 8, we will be working at 25% capacity as we prepare to take a break for 5 weeks and will be back at 100% come January 17.
