As the motorsport year comes to an end, don't forget in the off season to go through your comms kit & maintain it like you would anything else your racing relies on.
*Check for loose connections, & water ingress into joints.
*Check for chaffing of the wiring & any damage from zip ties being too tight.
*Check your external antenna to make sure it is making good contact with the base.
*Do a battery check on your radios to make sure they are taking charge, & the the charger base & cable has no damage.
*Check your headset, cables & PTT Button.
*Spray some contact cleaner in your steering wheel Push To Talk button.
*Think about if you want to upgrade. Do you want to go Digital, or perhaps add another radio & headset for your crew. You don't need to replace anything but your radios if you want to upgrade, & don't believe any other seller that tells you otherwise.
