I can remember walking the course, thinking on my feet, sharing ideas and finding homes and themes for them to fit within. It was exciting! 18 holes of candy themed fun. We planed it out, got the green light and then we flooded back in 22’ 🫣
Then the team made the first move in solidifying a 5 year, 12 themed putt putt collaboration. They postponed the start of the activation and gave us all the support to get back on our feet and get it together. I was indebted and forever grateful for the creative freedoms I was permitted, the many opportunities outside of the course I was presented and the collaborative, talented teams I worked with.
As the curtain closes on at the end of month, I’ll slowly forget about cursing every time I tripped on the uneven ground, or held a ladder because we couldn’t find a flat spot for it or swatted away swarms of stink bugs and instead remember the bacon and egg rolls the team shouted us for breakfast, and the epic team past and present (Beck, Tim, Em, Kate, Mad, James, Shan, B, Andy). Wishing you all the best with the next move and thanking you so much for everything, there won’t be another Vic Park x
