13 years ago Stu started Kitchen Addiction with his nephew Nicholas by his side. Nick, a teenager at the time and young apprentice, wise and mature beyond his years, showed talent and dedication from day one.
Over the past decade I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nick and watching him grow, not only professionally but personally, into the incredible young man he is today (ok so not so young anymore 😂).
I’ve worked with many coworkers in my time and I can honestly say Nick is one if the most dedicated , loyal and skilled tradies I’ve ever met. Every client he had contact with would sing his praise’s for being polite, helpful and knowledgeable. We were often told he was the loveliest tradie they’ve had in their home and we should be proud of how he represented Kitchen Addiction.
Proud doesn’t begin to cover it though. Nick has not just been an asset to the business but an integral part of who we are. He helped make Kitchen Addiction what it is today. Your business is only as good as its staff, and with Nick being its lifeblood on the tools and on site, through thick and thin, we have had the privilege of seeing KA grow and prosper.
In December last year Nick made the life choice to make a ‘tree change’ and moved away from Brisbane to start a new chapter with his beautiful fiancée Tyler. As you can imagine this was a massive change for KA, losing your number one staff member is tricky to navigate at the best of times. However, it was almost harder to deal with on a personal side, not having Nicks happy, intelligent, thoughtful, funny, tin foil hat (you know I’m joking 😂) personality around the place left a huge hole and we do miss him a lot. We could not be happier for him though and we are so excited to see what life brings them both.
It’s taken me 4 months to find the right words to share to express our gratitude and appreciation. This post still won’t do him justice but we want the Kitchen Addiction community to know just what an incredible tradie, staff member, nephew and friend you are Nick.
On the eve of your wedding, the next new chapter in what I know will be a long and loving life together, we want to wish you all the happiness in the world. We want to say thank you.
Congratulations guys! Much love. ❤️
