1. Have a “landing zone” for things you (and your kids) bring home.

2. Set space limits: 1 in? 1 out.

3. Use containers.

4. Have a permanent donation spot in your home.

5. Rotate regularly.

It can often be hard to make the choice to remove items from your life, whether it be for sentimental reasons or because you might have a use for it again 'someday'. But the more stuff you have creating clutter in your home, the more unhappy you can become. Finding that starting point can be tough! Here is your pre-Christmas challenge... pick a room and pack up anything that has not been used this calendar year. Donate it to charity, sell it online or give it to someone you know will use it. Decluttering can be very motivating! If you really can't find a starting point, All Sorted can provide you with some hands on help.
