❤️💛🖤 Introducing our 2026 NAIDOC Week Jersey.

This special initiative recognises and celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while providing an opportunity for our club to acknowledge and honour First Nations stories, culture and contributions.

Designed by Amanda Terblanche from PFS Creative and featuring elements from an original artwork by local First Nations artist Ayla Costello, this year’s jersey is a reflection of culture, connection and belonging.

A huge thank you to Community Bank Victoria Point & Community Bank Wynnum-Manly (Bendigo Bank) for supporting this initiative. More exciting news about this partnership is coming soon 👀

Sports Trainers – Wynnum Wolves Football Club 🐺

Wynnum Wolves Football Club is seeking qualified casual Sports Trainers to cover training sessions on Monday to Thursday and Game days Friday to Sunday.

Multiple shifts will be available each week – starting from early June 2026 onwards including late afternoon / early evening shifts and weekends.

This role would suit university students studying physiotherapy or sports science, however all are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

· MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO SATURDAY OR SUNDAY OR BOTH

· CPR and First Aid certificates

· Blue Card

· SMA Sports Trainer level 1 qualification

Times – (may change depending on game/training events)

Monday – Friday ~ 5:00pm to 8:30pm

Weekends – 9:00am – 2:00 pm / 12:00pm – 5:00pm

FIELD UPDATE 🌧️☀️

Fields at Carmichael Park will remain closed today.

We understand the frustration around the recent field closures, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience over the past few days.

After the amount of rain we’ve had, we need to preserve the fields as best as possible so we can continue moving forward over the coming weeks and avoid further damage.

With the sun finally out today ☀️, we’re going to give the grounds some time to dry out and recover, and we’ll provide another update as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ‼️

Following last night’s rain, all fields at Carmichael Park will remain closed today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday).

As you can see from the condition of the grounds this morning after high tide, we need to continue protecting the fields while the rain settles and conditions improve 🌧️

We’ll keep monitoring conditions closely and continue providing updates over the coming days.

Unfortunately, the rain is back 🌧️
As a result, our fields are currently closed until further notice.

We’ll continue to monitor conditions closely and keep everyone updated over the coming days regarding field access, training, and fixtures.
