Hi Iโ€™m Jess, and together with my hubby Pete have an absolute passion for refurbishing and transforming unwanted/outdated furniture otherwise destined for landfill into beautifully up-styled pieces that will adorn homes for many more years to come. Instead of buying a brand new, mass produced coffee table for their freshly renovated home, my clients chose to customise a piece they already owned. (Stay tunedโ€ฆ there will be more pieces requiring a refurb coming soon).
Itโ€™s amazing how the right finish can completely change the architectural vibe of a piece.

By grounding the base in a deep, solid black, those clean geometric lines instantly popped. The top is stained in a rich walnut stain, keeping the piece feeling high end and warm, rather than stark.

It features a sleek black finish paired with a brand new, custom built wooden base stained in a rich walnut. The contrast is absolutely beautiful, especially topped off with those fresh new brass handles!

Spray day at the RR workshop. Working on a total transformation for this buffet, opting for a Classic Black finish for that sleek, modern edge.
The first coat is officially down, and the coverage is looking seamless.
