Arakai Estate

Arakai Estate Award-winning Whole Leaf Green & Black Tea, Ginger, Avocados & Plantation Rainforest Timbers

Starting out as a venture into private farm forestry, this 140-acre (56Ha) property in the serene Conondale Ranges is now undertaking the exciting task of growing and processing Green & Black Tea for the local market. We grow Japanese tea varieties, processed in a Chinese/Taiwanese style (with Oolong influences), for Australian tastes. They are sweet, aromatic Greens and rich, full-flavoured Black

s - Best enjoyed in multiple, short steepings that bring out the beautiful, changing flavours of an Asian-influenced tea. We've been honoured with awards for both our achievements in forestry and our hand-crafted teas. In 2015 our property expanded to 390-acres (157Ha), now including large areas of high quality native hardwoods and pristine rainforest gullies. We are expanding our avocado plantings and also provide timber-milling services with our TimberKing2000 bandsaw mill.
