This is our first time entering our teas into these prestigious awards so we’re over the moon to receive a mention among so many top notch teas.

When you receive 200mm of unseasonal rain in the middle of tea pruning….. you don your wet weather gear, umbrella, thermos of tea and prune the tea in 200mm of unseasonal rain! 🌧️ 🍃 🍵

Our TFC-10 pruner/harvester from is pretty much the only machine that we can run in wet weather. We’re lucky to have it!

They've had their 6 months of storage and have now mellowed out and developed some beautiful flavours.

It’s a scorching couple of days in the tea shed! Making summer tea in Australia can be tricky.. this time last year we had the fireplace going!
It’s great weather for withering black tea though (and withering ourselves).
We’re keeping ourselves and the ginger blocks well hydrated that’s for sure.

When the tea’s ready, the tea’s ready!!
Boxing Day at Arakai Estate is our first harvest day of our third harvest for the season.
We were really hoping for an early new year pluck but the heat and rain we’ve had have sped things up. We should be done before 2024 arrives for this one!
