Hi all,

When you decide to have anything Aqublasted please ensure that all the parts have been stripped of all nuts, bolts, washers, wheel weights & valves etc and degrease all parts as this is something that is preliminary to the cleaning. Note this can be done as an extra charge and will in some instances cost as much as the cleaning cost

Our Australian Designed and Built wet blast process is a unique wet blast finishing process. It utilises an abrasive media, water and compressed air to induce a scrubbing action on the surface of the material being processed. It is sometimes referred to as slurry blasting or (sometimes incorrectly) vapour blasting or vapour honing.

How our System Works

o Provides a superior finish
o Uses a high volume, low pressure pump.

• A common misconception is that all wetblast machines are the same, give the same finish and operate the same way. In fact, there are several methods of getting air, water and media to the process gun. Another complication is that the open systems such as those used for graffiti removal and on boats use similar terms but mean entirely different processes such as the use of high-pressure water which our process does not use.
• Our wet-blasting process offers many advantages over the regular dry sandblasting method. They’re more environmentally friendly and less hazardous to user health with its dustless operation. We can blast with finer or coarser media than a dry baster and blast items that would get destroyed in a regular sandblaster.
• You’ll see terms such as “wet-blaster, vapour honer, vapour blaster, vapour matting, slurry blasting” and more. This can cause some confusion and leaves some new wet-blast cabinet owners wondering why they can’t get the same finish as the contract blaster they used to take their parts to
