This is one of our most favourite classic black and white designed kitchens this year. The dark cabinetry in a Polytec Ultraglaze Ultra Matt Black expresses a sense of depth, contrasted against the Smartstone stone benchtop Arcadia with the Polytec Ultraglaze Ultra White Matt in this two-tone kitchen. Who is in love with the double oven tower and fridge overhead wine rack? Love is in the little details.

Ok, so we might’ve forgotten to wipe down the dishwasher before taking this picture, but the hero of this story: twin pull out bins. You wouldn’t say ‘divine’ when it comes to bins, but how about…..’smart space saver’, ‘keeps the kitchen clean’, ‘the perfect addition to any new kitchen’, ‘organisation’ and ‘class’. It’s a must have, if you’ve got the space for it and if you don’t – chat to us about it, we can come up with some clever ideas.

Well-designed kitchen cabinetry will incorporate defined spaces for crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans, baking items and plastic storage, in a mix of both overhead and under-bench cabinetry. An example of this is utilising the rear of the island where the overhang is. These cupboards don’t have handles and have the finger pull option to reach at any part of the top of the door to pull open. Sleek, elegant and seamless… who doesn’t love secret storage?

A good-sized pantry for food is a must. Separate goods into zones such as baking, drinks, sauces and condiments, snacks to make preparing and locating food items simple.
In narrow yet deep pantries, pull-out drawers work and allow easy access to the back of the space so that items aren’t forgotten. Meanwhile, adjustable shelving is a great option for shallow pantries. These inner drawers are both functional and stylish. No need for bending down or squeezing past shelves to reach for items in the back.

When it comes to appliances, there are so many options available. If you have the space available, consider a double oven tower. With two separate ovens, you can cook your main meal in one, and a dessert in the other. The separate compartments help to keep cooking odours from mixing, and it also means you can cook at two different temperatures. Behind the cabinetry doors is more clever and function storage include drawers below and doors to the top with shelving.
