- With the winter morning sunlight rising, warmth radiates off this lovingly restored Oak mid-century sideboard. With 100% sheep’s wool lining on the drawer interior for that added elegance. Stripped, sanded, stained and finished in good old shellac. I love my job.

- This mid-century Brazilian rosewood dining set had the full re-work done on it. Stripped, sanded, repaired, stained and re-polished. New upholstery was chosen out of the range which was a win for the contrast! Little doggo seems to approve of the new look too! Another happy client means a happy restorer!

- Full restoration job on this piece. The base was completely broken and needed structural repairs done. Then fully stripped, sanded, coloured and re-polished. Brand new upholstery too, the client decided to go with range of fabrics which was a great choice. A lovely piece of furniture and super comfortable 😎

• Danish Teak Mid Century Dining Table by Vejle Stole & Mobelfabrik •

- This dining table came in having lived a full life to say the least. Went to town on it; stripped, sanded, stained polished and dulled down to a lovely satin finish using hard shellac. Ready to share countless meals and laughs over again. The last pic shows an example of the condition of the top when it arrived.

- Before and after on this antique cedar chest of drawers. The old estapol stain was quite a nightmare to get off and out of the grain. The client wanted to keep the original colour and patina of the solid cedar underneath. So we did 😊 Finished in a traditional French polish and beeswax.

• Pair of Victorian Piano Stools •

- Fully restored pair of Victorian piano stools. One made in Mahogany,the other in Walnut. Mahogany one had been snapped in half, meaning a new tenon had to be made and housed into either end of stool. It was also missing mouldings under the seat and the height adjustment mechanism needed to be re-set into place. Walnut one had to have its legs knocked apart and re-glued. Both had a final cut back, a re polish and a fresh beeswax. Now back to their musical family in Castlemaine where they belong 🎶
