For all our Facebook followers who may not have seen on Instagram;

It is with a bittersweet sadness that the Steadfast Woodwork joinery shop will be closed permanently as of Feb 2025. This year (2024) has seen me battle more financial, physical and mental burdens that have forced me to reflect on my business and the sustainability of keeping the shop open in the future. Busy Tradies like myself often joke about the workload and we wear the burnout and late hours as a badge of honour but I’ve had enough. I am choosing to spend more time with my family, free from the stress of running this business around the clock. Thank you all for your support since the beginning, I do have a few jobs to complete in the new year before we liquidate. I’m choosing to scale back to my roots and you will see this page change as I announce my heirloom furniture collective soon - the passion for high quality handmade furniture is still burning strong in me.

Tambour unit heading to its new home today. Been a while since I played with tambour and this little guy was some good (stressful) fun. Custom polished brass full length handles, curved ends and rounded dowel feet keeping everything smooth and sleek ✨🤎

Bespoke trolley cabinet in solid American black walnut. Our clients brief pinpointed the importance of using walnut and embracing all the natural character that comes with it. Grain, sapwood, knots and all! The goal was to create a chunky yet soft and elegant, multi purpose trolley to fill a blank corner of a living room. With intentions to sit a tv on top for now but the ability of future-proofing and enabling this cabinet to evolve with the family needs. A very fulfilling build for our team here 🤎🪵

Re-visited an old table I designed and built last year. This was one of 4 concept pieces I presented to the client. This table was designed not as a gathering table but as a one of kind statement piece. Blackbutt build with solid 90x45mm laminated staves making up the curved plinths. The matte hardwax oil finish has deepened the tone of the timber and will continue to naturally age while staying durable for many years to come 🪵✨
