A little life update! ❤️

You might have noticed things have been a little quieter around here, and our making times have stretched out a bit lately!

Hard to beleive my littlest is now 6 and I've returned to teaching, this time to the classroom as an inclusion teacher - and I'm loving it!

I'm still here, tinkering away and creating behind the scenes, just juggling a few more things these days!

With Christmas creeping up, I'm bringing forward our Christmas order cut-off to 30th October! 🎄

That gives you just two weeks to get your Christmas orders in!

After this date, you'll notice some items marked as sold out as I wind down making to ensure all Christmas orders are ready in time.

There’s something about playing shops that just feels like childhood. 🤎

A few things lined up for sale, someone behind the counter, and suddenly there’s a whole little world happening.

It’s one of those kinds of play kids seem to come back to again and again.

That’s what we love about our Mini Shelves. No big play shop or piece of furniture needed. Just pop them on a table or shelf and add a few pieces. Simple to set up, easy to store, and lots of childhood imagination in between. 🤎

8 years on, and our colour sorting board is still going strong! I designed this after wanting an alternative to small coloured bowls that were available at the time. I wanted something that was more versatile, open-ended,with a larger coloured space for sorting a range of items-not just small wooden loose parts, but larger items, random bits and bobs around the house or even from nature.

If you have one of my boards still but your children are perhaps older, grab it out with a few pieces for a quiet regulating activity. You may find yourself enjoying it also 😀

I'm back!! Well, semi back... It has been a long, slow, frustrating road and my shoulder is still not fully healed, I still have a limited range of movement and strength BUT I've started back making again. Thanks all so much for your patience and understanding. It's been a good 6 months since I've made a playstand but I broke that drought last week. It is still pretty tough going, so I'm definitely taking it easy, and have opened some products for preorder on the website.

So, I'm curious what have you missed seeing from my little corner of the gram?
