This beautiful vintage dining setting, treasured by my customer’s grandmother, is currently in the studio for a complete makeover. ✨

I’ve been carefully stripping back years of old varnish to reveal the stunning parquetry detail hidden beneath the surface — and it’s absolutely worth the effort. There’s something so special about restoring a family keepsake and giving it a new life for the next generation to enjoy.

This gorgeous 1950s dressing table is next on the list before I dive back into custom orders… and I couldn’t resist this one 😍

I’m keeping a touch of that beautiful natural timber, pairing it with Rainforest and hints of gold for a rich, earthy mid-century vibe.

From start to finish… what a day!!

From setting up the space, to hands-on learning, to those final finishing touches — this is what the workshop is all about.

We covered it all… prep work, priming, building confidence with techniques, and bringing each piece through to its finished look. All using Pureco products 🙌 Watching each of these projects come to life step by step was so special 🤍

A big heartfelt thank you to Claire, Louise and Penny for coming along to my very first workshop. It truly meant so much to share the day with you — your creativity, trust and willingness to learn made it all so special ✨

There’s something really rewarding about learning the process and seeing the transformation unfold with your own hands.

Claire worked on a timber decorative mirror for her home,
Louise transformed a mid-century coffee table for her beach house,
& Penny brought new life to an antique carved timber wall piece.

Each one completely different — but all brought back to life with care, creativity and a little guidance along the way 🤍

This is what the workshops are all about… creating something you love, with your own hands.

From missing pieces to a complete statement ✨
I found this solid timber cupboard on marketplace with no sides or door fronts… but I could see the potential straight away.

After rebuilding the back with new ply, I replaced the missing panels with a soft cream hessian—bringing in that relaxed, contemporary coastal feel.

The inside was painted in Almond to keep it light and fresh, while the exterior is a custom blend of Beaches (retired) and Chestnut from the Pureco Silk range… creating the most beautiful brown slate tone 🤎

A full transformation that proves sometimes the “incomplete” pieces just need a little vision.

This mid-century buffet has had a full refresh for a special customer order.

Carefully prepped and primed using Zinsser, with an extra coat of Ecru Base & Blocker by Pureco, and Wise Owl clear enamel primer on the laminate top for extra durable surface.

Finished in Myrtle on the outside and Dandelion inside for that perfect contrast 💛💚
The original gold trims and feet have been revived and paired with new gold k***s to complete the mid-century look.
