For Kelly Slater and Kalani Miller, the vision for their family home was never about creating something overly styled or formal. Instead, they wanted spaces that felt calm, effortless, and genuinely liveable - somewhere their young family could slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the rhythms of everyday coastal living.

The dining space became a natural expression of that philosophy. Warm timbers, layered natural textures, and soft sculptural forms create an atmosphere that feels relaxed yet refined, balancing understated sophistication with a deep sense of comfort. At the center of the space, our Carmel Extension Dining Table is paired with the Laguna Dining Chairs, grounding the room in warmth and connection.

Framed by sweeping views across one of Australia’s most iconic stretches of sand, the space moves effortlessly from quiet morning rituals to long lunches and sunset dinners, all shaped by the beauty and calm of the surrounding coastline.

We had the privilege of designing and furnishing Kelly and Kalani's beautiful Gold Coast home, a space shaped by organic texture, natural materiality, and subtle layers of personal pieces that reflect their lifestyle and story.
