Our story began in Sydney in the early 1970s,
with a small workshop in Alexandria crafting hand-forged steel furniture for some of Australia’s most respected designers.
Before we were retailers, we were makers.
Everything was built around material, craftsmanship, and the belief that good design should last.
The early years in our Surry Hills store weren’t always easy,
but combining our own designs with carefully selected Italian pieces shaped the philosophy that still guides us today —
European influence grounded by Australian practicality.
From the very beginning, our focus has remained the same: Make it well. Make it honestly. Make it last.
