Brushed nickel isn’t always the same brushed nickel. And brushed gold definitely isn’t always the same brushed gold.
One of the biggest mistakes we see during renovations is people choosing the “same colour” tapware across different brands without realising the finishes can vary quite a lot once they’re side by side.
Some brushed golds pull warm and bronzy, others look much brighter or more yellow. Even matte black and gunmetal can differ in tone and texture.
That’s why we always recommend trying to keep your tapware, accessories and fittings within the same brand or collection where possible, especially if they’ll be positioned close together in the same space.
