Lauren Egan is a Melbourne/Naarm based interior decorator specialising in creating homes that feel genuinely personal and thoughtfully curated. Established in 2018, the studio works with discerning homeowners who understand that a beautiful home isn’t about following trends, it’s about creating spaces that reflect how you actually live.
Here is one of Lauren’s amazing projects located at Mount Sturgeon Homestead. It’s a spectacular 1800’s colonial house set on a working farm on the edge of Dunkeld, with sweeping views of Wurgarri (Mount Sturgeon).
Part of the the homestead is undergoing a rejuvenation that honours place and history while enhancing comfort for guests.
The brief for the sitting room was to transform the space into a welcoming retreat that celebrates the surrounding landscape.
We asked a few questions about her approach to design and this project, head over to our bio to read the full interview.
