JAFFERS FURNITURE IS CLOSING DOWN

Opened on St. Vincent Street in Port Adelaide in 1934, Jaffers Furniture has been an iconic South Australian family furniture business.

From humble Port Adelaide beginnings, Max and Ena Jaffer created a strong foundation for a family business that has spanned 91 years and 4 generations of family.

With a focus on customer service, quality Australian made products and value for money, Roger and Heather Jaffer continued to honour their family legacy together, until the sad passing of Roger Jaffer in 2022. Heather Jaffer, along with her loyal and much loved team of staff have continued the legacy and Port Adelaide spirit to this day.

However, it is with sadness that after decades of hard work, dedication to local manufacturers and suppliers and support for her local community, the time has come for Heather Jaffer to retire. Heathers retirement brings with it the end of an another era in the rich and colourful commercial history of Port Adelaide.

Jaffers final day of trade is Wednesday 26 February, closing our doors for the final time at 5pm.
