Size of Storage Unit to Rent
An important thing to consider is how large of a unit you will need from Fleurieu Self Storage as we have many choices that might suit your needs . As far as saving money, it is more of a saving to rent a larger unit rather than renting an additional one, see: www.fleurieuselfstorage.com.au
Before packing, walk around your existing home, garage/shed(s) and outdoor areas, estimate and measure items. You need to find the square footage. And, here's a useful tip, when you look at a storage unit's square footage, you should know that you won't be able to use all of it because some large items are impossible to stack.
If you haven't started packing yet, it's a good thing. Now you can do it strategically. Buy boxes (from Fleurieu Self Storage) that are the same size:

You also will most likely end up with some of your existing plastic storage totes, some boxes of the same size and some that just don't match up at all. That's just the way it goes and that's fine.
Remember to never pack chemicals, liquids, food, batteries, aerosol cans, etc. You will be able to get a list of what not to put in a unit with your signed rental contract.
The best way to pack a storage unit empty storage locker is to put the cardboard boxes stacked at the back and the larger items at bith sides and tn fill with cardboard and finally put any plastic containers stacked at the front as in the photo :)
