I got so excited when I saw these bedside tables because I knew they had so much potential, they just needed a modern update!! 💫🖤

I've always loved the look of open shelving when it comes to bedsides so I removed the back panelling and opted for a classic black finish to add elegance.

It's taken me a while this year to get back into the swing of posting on here, but I'm back after a bit of a break and ready to share more furniture transformations with you!! 💫

Here's one I finished off recently - a custom dresser and bedsides set!!

Although the bedsides and dressers weren't originally part of a set, the addition of some furniture legs on the dresser, matching hardware and sanding, combined with a paint wash has made them look like they were always meant to go together.

Because it's been a while since I painted something black! 🖤 These beautiful vintage provincial bedsides have been refreshed using in "Licorice" and waxed with their clear furniture wax.

Measurements approx 64cm h x 51cm w x 35 cm d (There is a very slight height/width difference between them)

These grand king-size bedsides got the faux wood makeover of my dreams! I am definitely late to the game with testing out this painting technique but I am so glad that I finally did, because I am absolutely obsessed with the finish of these bedsides!! ✨These are extremely heavy and solid.

Sold 🏷️ - The perfect pair of farmhouse style bedsides! ✨ These bedsides have been hand painted a classic white, with a slightly distressed paint washed top and finished with a clear wax for protection. How cute are the little feet on the base?!

I am absolutely in love with the finish of this piece! ✨ After sanding back all the old varnish and stain, I applied a paint wash over the entire piece before sealing with varnish. I decided to focus it primarily on the drawer fronts, making them slightly lighter then the rest of the dresser to add more interest and dimension to the piece. I think it's crazy how adding something as simple as feet to the base of an otherwise simple furniture design can completely change the overall feel of the piece!!

I would love to know what you guys think of the finish on this dresser?

{Sold🏷️} This vintage cabinet/sideboard is perfectly imperfect in everyway! It's imperfections show it's history and add so much character. I decided to paint the base a timeless shade of green and strip back the top surface to expose the beautiful rustic wood grain hidden beneath the original orange stain. The paint has been subtly distressed and the original gold handles put back on to keep with the rustic and lived in look of the piece.

Because no finish is more durable then wood, I opted to lightly sand and nourish the inside surfaces with wax rather then paint them.

D - 45cm
H - 92cm

{Custom Piece🏷️} I love getting to work on little hall tables like this! This piece was collected from the side of the road and needed a fair bit of TLC to give it a new lease of life. It had water damage to the top and bottom surfaces and the original stain and varnish was flaking off. With a bit of love, some white paint and new hardware this hall table is now looking fresh and classy! 🤍

I'm so happy to be able to finally share this beautiful vintage display cabinet with you!!

This piece has not been without it's challenges and definitely took a lot more effort to refurbish then I initially anticipated, but it was sooo worth it! I am absolutely in love with how it turned out. Pictures do not do justice to just have stunning this piece is!

I tried to keep as much of the original vintage charm and character of this piece but at the same time wanted to modernise it from the outdated dark finish it was.

◽ I feel like this piece was made to be painted white with natural wood accents! ◽

• Note the unique meat safe style cupboard space at the bottom of this cabinet that gives it an extra oomph of character!
