UPDATE:
Dear students,
WU decided on removing our former common room (Stufenraum) and the social sciences library, then construction work starte. However, we got a say in how the first floor (where the former Stufenraum was located) is going to look like.
Now, over a year later, construction work is done and we can introduce the new area of the 1st floor in D4.
The former Stufenraum was transformed into a lecture hall (D4.1.200). However, we are going to do our open plenary meetings and student events there and you can use the room outside of lecture times. It is located in the 1st floor of the D4 building, the entrance next to Bashly’s, to the right when coming from the elevator.
Opposite from the Stufenraum, there is a common area with couches, which you can use all the time, to chill. Located on the left side when coming from the elevator.
And the silent study area should fill the gap of the social sciences library, at least to some extent. You can find it on the left side, coming from the elevator.
Let us reclaim our space and come together in the 1st floor of D4!
