Rare sculptural easy chair attributed to Steel-Line, Italy, dating from the 1980s.

The striking conical body is crafted from textured etched steel, creating a distinctive reflective surface that changes with the surrounding light. The dramatically flared backrest forms the armrests and gives the chair its strong architectural silhouette.

A black upholstered seat contrasts with the metallic body, while the delicate tubular steel base terminates in small brass feet. An exceptional piece of Italian Postmodern design, combining raw industrial materials with an expressive, almost sculptural form.

Iconic “Bastiano” lounge chair, designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1962 for Gavina, Italy. 🇮🇹

The chair is characterized by its strong architectural wooden frame, openly supporting a series of generously proportioned loose cushions upholstered in dark leather. The contrast between the rigid geometric structure and the soft, relaxed upholstery is central to the design and gives the Bastiano its distinctive appearance.

This example retains a beautiful vintage character, with a dark wooden frame and naturally patinated leather showing signs of age and use

Rare pair of „Model 771“ coffee tables, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, Italy, in the mid-1960s.

The tables feature substantial rosewood frames with characteristic architectural proportions and reversible table tops, finished in black laminate on one side and white laminate on the other, allowing the appearance of each table to be changed individually.

Both examples retain their original Cassina manufacturer’s labels. An uncommon opportunity to acquire a matching pair of this early Scarpa design.

Finished in white, the lamp is characterized by its bold geometric form and sculptural presence, transforming a functional light source into a distinctive design object.

A rare and highly recognizable design by Ketoff, reflecting the experimental approach to form and function of the 1980s.

The “Chariot” chaise longue, designed by Paul Tuttle for Strässle International in 1972, is a striking example of 1970s modernist furniture design.

Its minimalist construction consists of a polished chrome-plated steel frame supporting a suspended leather sling, creating the characteristic floating appearance of the design.

The elegant curved profile, exposed structure and contrasting materials reflect Tuttle’s refined approach to form and construction. A highly sculptural and collectible piece of Swiss design from the 1970s.
