If a billionaire owns a high growth company with cash flows extrapolated into the future, their wealth will be highly sensitive to interest rates. That’s why this begins from the start of the Pandemic.

This period has seen a huge swings in . There are some billionaires like Elon Musk, who felt it. Others like Warren Buffett were far more stable.

Does it matter? Probably not for them. They are comfortable well off. But it does demonstrate how rapidly the investment landscape has changed in just a few years.
