HEADS UP.
There are a few things we simply won’t do in your home. Sorry, not sorry.
1. Curtains that are too short.
No ankle-length curtains around here.
Our rule of thumb? Curtains should kiss the ceiling and kiss the floor. As tall as possible and barely touching the ground. It creates the illusion of taller ceilings, making a space feel visually larger, more luxurious, and more curated.
It’s one of those little details that makes a surprisingly big difference.
2. Matching matchy-matchy furniture sets.
We love a coordinated space. We just don’t love a catalogue page.
You won’t catch us buying the bedside tables, dresser, headboard, and drawer unit all from the same collection. It looks convenient, but it rarely looks layered.
Instead, we source pieces from different collections, tones, and sometimes even styles to create a space that feels intentional and curated. We want every piece to feel like it was chosen because it was the best option, not because it happened to come in a set.
Design is expensive.
We want it to look expensive.
3. Over-cluttering.
Just because there’s an empty shelf doesn’t mean it needs filling.
Everything we place is purposeful, designed, and intentional. We actually design the layout of the objects, not just the room itself.
A space needs to breathe. The more uncluttered a space is, the more refined it feels. Layered? Always. Cluttered? Never.
The best spaces are curated over time. They feel collected, effortless, and like a breath of fresh air.
