It took three year's post care giving to get breakthrough in former line of work.

I started a big remedial landscaping on Wednesday. So we are three days in.

It is now the wee hour's of Saturday and I had planned to work, but my weather app said 80% chance of rain, so I decided not to work today.

I am knackered, so I don't mind.

The wholesale nursery truck arrived after 6pm last night, so I got home just before 7pm.

Was asleep around 8, I reckon. I had to switch my phone off to charge, so I don't know the actual time.

This mansion has three flight's of stair's, so guess who is doing cardio a dozen times a day!!!

This morning I will catch the family before they leave and go water the plants quick, then head off to visit my mom.

At least I can catch up with rent arrears, replace my windscreen and get a few other thing's now now, but I would have earned every cent by the time I am done.

The garden is such a mess, I need to take most of it out to get it looking 'modern' to match this mansion.

I even have a double storey atrium with a hanging wall with 168 grow pouches to sort out.

Found some nice plants for the floor. Luckily, my own wee nursery also has few big plants I can use.

Rain yesterday and today, plus cold.. eish!

Have donated material to cut and tack together for making quilted dog beds, but too cold to work.

Praying house doesn't flood!

Will go visit mom Weds, because clean up tomorrow will be brutal.

Three years now and still cannot afford to repair ruddy washing machine.

Time for coffee, thank heaven!

These day's I run an animal rescue, live in a tiny house and visit my mom twice a week.

Trying to get funding for my groundbreaking Alzheimer's thesis and new client's for my landscaping biz, but the drought, then winter has meant no work for month's.

I sell the odd thing online and friend's send me donation's from time to time.

My mom turns 89 on 30th of June, God willing.

Recently painted her room in frail care bright pink to the shock of many.

Dollied up a big wooden heart and found this cloth doll and a butterfly cushion at a local charity shop.

Added some new art work and new brighter secondhand curtain's.

Had no time, or space to sew, but one day when I can build a small workshop... Still have a few finished item's in stock.

My house is 6 x 6m and full of dog's.

Mom will turns 89 on June 30th, God willing.

I see her twice a week and we have good days and bad.

Her memory has now deteriated again, although I had MCT oil to put in her coffee, I haven't been able to buy again, but my bro bought a tub of coconut oil, so I hope staff put AM and PM on her toast, but few will bother, or remember.

I do what I can, but I have had one day's work this whole year.

This week waiting for medical aid approval, so I can take maman for her annual IV infusion to treat her osteoporosis at the GP's office.

Rebuilding my landscaping biz a failure due to water restriction's and now winter, so living by faith each day and God provide's.

Starting up in a new small town, has also not been easy.

Selling goods online at odd intervals and get odd food and cash donation's from friend's and supporter's of my small animal rescue.

So busy, broke, never bored, but still blessed!

I see my last post was in April last year. Eish!

Started an animal rescue almost immediately since moving to my tiny house in a poor rural community nineteen months ago.

I want to start sewing again, but need to clear se work space. A 6 x 6m house is a challenge.

Life is busy, am broke, but never bored!

My landscaping business has fallen totally flat. Not sure if it is the drought, or my lousy marketing.

Living by faith ain't for sissies, but I am grateful my mom is still alive.

My latest rescue, an emaciated mama dog trying to feed eight puppies.

She is well on her way to recovery, due to getting a lot of nutritious small meals daily.

I had to choose between live and their's. Not easy, but took advice from big rescue group here.

In the next two weeks she will go for sterilization, so no one can breed her for profit again.

I am trying to sell household stuff online to pay vet bills, rent and
more. Donations are few and far between, but somehow I survive.

Talk about an interesting life... Still trying to get funding to publish my epic Alzheimer's thesis.

My dogs can drive me nuts, but bring me joy too!

Life has been hectic, so I am busy, mostly broke and never bored.

The animal rescue is slowly coming, new work and new community projects.

Plus I have six foster pups to rehome right now. Short of sleep to boot!
