I see my last post was in April last year. Eish!

Started an animal rescue almost immediately since moving to my tiny house in a poor rural community nineteen months ago.

I want to start sewing again, but need to clear se work space. A 6 x 6m house is a challenge.

Life is busy, am broke, but never bored!

My landscaping business has fallen totally flat. Not sure if it is the drought, or my lousy marketing.

Living by faith ain't for sissies, but I am grateful my mom is still alive.

My latest rescue, an emaciated mama dog trying to feed eight puppies.

She is well on her way to recovery, due to getting a lot of nutritious small meals daily.

I had to choose between live and their's. Not easy, but took advice from big rescue group here.

In the next two weeks she will go for sterilization, so no one can breed her for profit again.

I am trying to sell household stuff online to pay vet bills, rent and
more. Donations are few and far between, but somehow I survive.

Talk about an interesting life... Still trying to get funding to publish my epic Alzheimer's thesis.

My dogs can drive me nuts, but bring me joy too!

Life has been hectic, so I am busy, mostly broke and never bored.

The animal rescue is slowly coming, new work and new community projects.

Plus I have six foster pups to rehome right now. Short of sleep to boot!

Mom the other day when a dear friend went to visit.

I haven't had any landscaping, or garden work in three weeks, so no moolla for petrol to visit her.

Got a lot of house, garden work to do. Six dogs keeping me busy and even have landscaping quotes to work on.

So I am reading a book... LOL!

Life is hectic right now. Laying out plant beds, building greenhouses so I can grow orchids, bonsai and pot plants to sell.

I am planning to build a pergola to create shade and space for my grapes and and scented climbers to grow next to the fugly patio paving.

Still unpacking, working and getting involved in community affairs, like animal welfare and my 'Community Upliftment Planting Project'.

Got given a piece of community ground to use, now just need funding to start. Taking 9 puppies to local animal welfare tomorrow!!

Getting females onto spay lists to prevent more unwanted pups. Getting donations of dog blankets, food and the odd kennel when I can.

Visit maman as often as I can afford, because petrol is uber expensive.

Still not set up to sew, as got loads of stuff to unpack, but slowly getting there.

Want to build a mini workspace outside, because of the amount of material and more I have. Most of which is in the garage right now.

Got 'adopted' by two of the local 'littlies' I started feeding, so it seems I now have four pooches. Living in a poor rural community is certainly not dull.

It is full of ticks for some reason, so I am on permanent tick patrol!

Probably going to try get chickens, ducks, or geese to eat up the ticks, which will add more mayhem to the existing zoo.

Saw maman today, so it was good. Doggies got to wait in car, but it was cool and they got a few outings.

Busy unpacking slowly. 36m2 is tiny, but got a big table to sew on and a big cupboard for storing some of my seeing stuff. The rest has to go into garage storage. Hope to build a separate studio to work in as funds permit.

Also started feeding starving neighbourhood dogs, so fundraising for that.

Working here and there on gardens and lanscaping.

Planning my new garden and a layout for my nursery plants and meeting the neighbours, so never a dull day.

My focus has been more on restarting my landscape gardening biz since mom's stroke 5 July, but been very slow, so now I have started a mini nursery.

Finally going to move to a tiny RDP house in the country with a big yard in the next few months, so will continue with nursery there.

Mom reacting to a visiting pooch, but her beloved pooch not allowed inside, she has to be put in a wc and go out side. Nuts!
