What an amazing journey.

Our lead project managers Vuyiswa Ntombela and Mpumelelo Frypan Mfula paricipated in the French Institute of South Africa Creation Africa Program.

All we have to say about the experience is that the next season of Lets Play Outside will show the fruits of this journey.

A story that started from a teenage friendship, and eventually brought the community together ✨

PRINCESS NW💜🤍 brought the community of Klerksdorp, Alabama, together to celebrate teenage culture, friendship and the power of telling their own story at the premiere of the Upride documentary. A doccie that showcases the beauty and vibrancy of teenage culture across different generations.

A big thank you to BWEF_SA for always being there to ignite the flame that’s always been there in our communities 🙏🏾 The community of Alabama showed up and the young ones showed us that they are ready to lead.

Lets Play Outside annual induction workshop - Season 5 ✨

Season 5 of our story tellers program has officially began. We welcomed our newly recruited students known as “ Learners “ re-united with our returning students known as “ Players “ and we worked hand in hand on the days activities and program with our senior students the .outsiders

The next 7 months of the program promises to be the best to date, with an addition of on-screen writing course led by the amazing & , the 2nd addition being the basics of performance led by the high energy & , and lastly an intro to the world of post production with the pro team from .

We look forward to playing and winning together for another amazing season of the youth story tellers program ✨

learners premiere experience for their short film titled MPUMELELO UYANG’BIZA

Learners ( Level 1 of 3 ) at Phumulani hosted their screening on a Friday afternoon for their school mates, as they do, they sold out on all their tuck shop stock, brought A1 entertainment from their school mates and we closed off the event with an award ceremony ✨

Mpumelelo Uyang’biza follows the journey of Themba, a young man from Katlehong, as he navigates the challenges of unemployment. Inspired by recyclers from his kasi , Themba discovers the potential of recycling as a means to turn waste into opportunity. Witness the spark that sets him on a path to success, but the real question is... what’s next? This is just the beginning of Themba’s journey.

learners premiere screening experience for their short film titled ISALAKUTSHELWA.

The Learners ( 1st level students at LPO ) hosted a screening for their school mates, family and community members. The day was mainly about the premiere of their independently produced short film, the snack shop they had to monetise the experience, as well as their award ceremony at the end of the event.

Thank you to all who made this season a success for this group of promising story tellers.
