“Odd-shaped tables made in just one week.” This was the exciting challenge set by Dana, the owner of The Conscious Kitchen cafe in Cape Town.

With our Cape Town-based workshop, a dedicated team of skilled artisans, and locally sourced materials, we were able to bring her vision to life on a tight timeline.

Yesterday, the new officially opened its doors in De Waterkant! Be sure to stop by, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy their delicious vegan cuisine, now served on our custom-made tables crafted just for them.

Today, our inspiration comes from the heart of Denmark, where we just love everything about this beautiful bathroom. The warm hue of the cabinet combined with the grey marble countertop gives you a sense of sophisticated coziness where the design is simple, yet very personal.

Additionally, the rust-coloured textured wall is an incredible addition, showcasing how attention to detail can enhance a space.

This bathroom captures a relaxing, yet refined ambiance, and that is what inspires us the most.

A look at a completed wardrobe installation which was part of a larger residential project we recently did in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town.

This wardrobe was built using stone pine, coated with a wood stained vanish to create the preferred warm finish. 

For the fronts, we used a special grid mesh rustic rattan which help create a natural contrast in color and texture.

Our favourite part of the wardrobe?

The razor-shaped handles we did by hand in our workshop.

A glimpse of the complete kitchen we did for a client who renovated her whole house in Tamboerskloof this past winter.

This client started her journey with BOMO by ordering a custom bathroom console for her master bathroom. Pleased with the outcome of the initial project, the client went on to assign us to do the majority of the new custom woodwork in the house including kitchen, master wardrobe, cupboards & bar stools.

The client knew exactly what she wanted, and provided us with inspiration photos which shortened the time to get the project into production. We were extra thrilled to work on this project as the overall style & choice of materials very much aligned with our own preferences and experience.

In this particular kitchen we used meranti wood. White marble countertop and brass handles to create a natural balance of colours, materials & textures.
