** IN NEED OF A PUBLIC OPINION **
I have a client who placed an order for an 8x10 Rustic Pallet Portrait. She supplied this photo and asked for it to be finished in the rustic black frame.
She now claims the portrait is "awful" and is demanding a "re-do"
She claims there are far to many "imperfections" - I'd asked her if she read the product description before making a purchase - She said, yes she did.
INFO IN MY PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
** Images transferred will resemble an old photograph - weathered, distressed, faded with random scratches, nicks and wear marks** Depending on the image and the wood, each transfer and end result will be different - No two photographs are exactly alike (contrast, lighting, subjects, background and quality all play a role in the finished product) That is what makes each completed rustic portrait so interesting and unique.**
REFUNDS & EXCHANGE POLICY : ** Custom orders that include a photo that you have submitted to be applied to the pallet boards - are NOT refundable! As it is a custom print and cannot be re-sold.**
She has been nothing but rude, unappreciative and bossy in her emails to me since receiving the order and has recently filed a complaint with Etsy. I've explained to her that a re-do most definitely will not satisfy her if she is unhappy with the portrait she currently has.
MY QUESTION TO YOU IS, WHAT SHOULD I DO??
