Bean bag - history
The birthplace of frameless furniture is sunny Italy, and the inhabitants of this country know a lot about comfort and beauty. There are several versions as to who first came up with the idea to make a pouffe chair. All agree only that it was in 1967. According to the first opinion, the designer of the Hills company, Roger Dean, came up with a 12-piece fur furniture with the strange name "Sea Urchin". Another opinion is that the three talented Italian designers Gatti, Teodoro and Paolini, first filled the bag with many balls and gave it the shape of a pear.
