I have created so many holes in so many walls and window trim, it’s not even funny! So much measuring and leveling, and then eventually the brackets becoming loose from the wall. Or we moved and I had to start all over again. 😵‍💫
Best purchase ever was these no drill curtain rods! Not an ad, just a fan! I actually prefer no window treatments at all, but for front windows in this particular room it made sense.

This antique “dry sink” has been in my family for decades. Already a few hundred years old before my dad bought it in the ‘70s…it’s been banged up for as long as I can remember.
We’ve used it for a few different purposes including Lego storage, and my first paint storage cabinet. But I decided it was time for a change.
After painting and distressing, it now fills a big empty space and looks right at home.

I love this little makeover.

It won’t win any awards for wow factor, but it does win a “most budget friendly way to spruce up tired yet functional furniture” award! 🙂

This is our sports trunk and it houses the millions of soccer, basketball, tennis, frisbees and other various outdoor things for the kids.

I also have memories of my dad assembling it after I moved into an apartment with my new hubs. We’ve enjoyed this trunk for over 17 years and I’m so loving this new look!
