Learn the art of making mohair cinches. Two 4 hour sessions March 21st and 22nd from 9am to 1pm in Wickenburg, AZ I'll take you through the entire process of making a 17 strand cinch. You'll leave with a completed cinch plus ideas for more. Learn from an instructor with 40+ years of weaving experience. Cost of the class is $300 which includes all materials for your first cinch. You may borrow a loom or I have some to sell. I only take a maximum of four so you get individual attention. Don't miss out on this class as it is the only one I have scheduled for 2026. After several years of my woodshop being in storage it is now up and operational. Yay! I cut pieces for four cinch looms today and hope to have them ready for use by the time I teach another cinch class this winter. Look for information later about my cinch class in AZ right after the first of the year.

For those of you asking where to buy a cinch loom here are a couple ideas for you. UBraidIt.com has a new supplier located in New Mexico and have looms back in stock. Hopefully they can now keep looms in stock and don't run out!

Sometimes I feel like I've lost the last year of my life. I guess I'll call it my lost year. We spent most of the last year in Phoenix as my husband underwent testing for a lung transplant. He received his new lungs February 8th and is doing well. We were able to come home the first of June and hope we just have to go back every six weeks for clinic appointments and testing.
Needless to say, my own work has taken a back seat to his health needs. I hope to get back to making more videos this summer and maybe even doing some crafting. Thanks for your patience while I was tending to personal needs.

I was able to have a cinch making class in February. Everyone finished their cinch and a couple started on their second one. This year we tried adapting an art easel to use as our weaving loom and it worked out great. Let me know if you'd like information on what to buy and how to convert it.

Just finished a mohair cinch class. It was great fun and everyone went home saturated with weaving techniques.
