Many years ago, I began rescuing damaged and imperfect furniture...from garage sales, estate sales, even from the side of the road. I would clean, repair and meticulously refurbish each piece. Eventually, they made their way into my home. I wanted unique, well-crafted, functional pieces which would reflect my eclectic style and my love for the craftsmanship, character and integrity of the furnitur
e made long ago...without the price tag of a "certified antique". Within a few years, my home was filled with beautiful pieces, collectively reflecting my own personal style. Each piece is one of a kind and has its own personality. Now, when people come to my home, they are welcomed by the warmth, comfort and harmony of my eclectic decor. Before long, friends, family and neighbors were asking me to refurbish their tired furniture and to help them find interesting pieces for their homes. My work soon grew into a business...custom painting furniture, rescuing antique and vintage pieces, transforming them and selling them... the beginnings of INTEGRITY Furniture Co. I find inspiration in all that surrounds me...nature, architecture and people. Since studying Design at Syracuse University I have found myself paying close attention to the world around me; tapping it for design inspiration. I could spend hours in a garden, days in the mountains and a lifetime at the beach. I love to capture the beauty of nature in photographs, sometimes displaying them in beautiful, antique frames I have rescued along the way. I feel compelled to share my craft and my inspiration in the hopes that I may encourage others to recognize the beauty in the world, to appreciate it, to nurture it and to design responsibly.
