this is one of my favorite ways to wear my bandanas. tying on a bandana is such a ritual for me, as each of our bandanas has an empowering mantra on it.
i wake up and do a gratitude practice and then sort through my stack of bandanas asking which message i need most that day.
this one says "against the odds"
i love that challenge, i hear a little whisper of 'you got this, sister' as i tie it on.

it's true! i started wearing bandanas and collecting bandanas at a time when i needed to feel brave (and bandanas make me feel closer to my grandfather's ideals) THEN i started making bandanas with messages on them to help you feel braver and stronger and more adventurous and bolder and more sure of yourself. that's when the addiction became palpable. my neck feels silly without a bandana wrapped around it. my outfit unfinished...
so take this as a warning!

i've always loved the shape and design of a cigar band. it's such a specific shape, so distinctive. so as i set out to design a new leather bandana slide that could work well with our lightweight cotton collection and our silk collection, i thought of the cigar band and thought it would be a great addition to our line up!
i hope you like it as much as i do!!

these are handcrafted in Greensboro, NC from genuine leather.
