Final assembly on the record console. This was an experiment and personal project to tie into existing elements in my living room. I have a navy rug and cherry coffee table that I made a few years ago, and this pulls from both of those elements. This will provide a much needed home for my record collection and a testing ground to see how strong Lamello Tenso connectors are with melamine glue on laminate material.

I think this could be a good economical solution to clients who don’t need a painted finish but I want to make sure it’s strong enough. If it can hold all my records, I know this combo can handle your kitchen needs.

Actually no one told me to make fluted doors but it felt like a good idea at the time. I’m happy with how they’re turning out but did not anticipate how much sanding they would need before finish.💀

POV Your shopmate is a parts processor and you get to reap the same benefits of the commercial shops that also use to cut and band their cabinet parts. This is definitely the easiest part of the process now.

🏆 And the award for weirdest shaped cabinet goes to this client in Nederland who had an interesting problem.

In order to make headroom above the stairs, there was an awkward bump out into the guest bedroom above and they wanted to make the space more functional. We went through a few iterations and landed on this reading nook that has a bookshelf above and shoe storage at the base.

Out of habit, everything is grain matched even though there will be custom upholstered cushions on the seat and the black stain makes it impossible to read the sequenced rift sawn white oak beneath it.

Shout out to for the phenomenal install on this one!
