We sponsored FACE at the St. Regis Bangkok.

We brought the Vision Chair and let people sit in it for the first time.
No explanation needed. The reactions said everything.
This is what Elevated Seating feels like.

How One Man’s 40-Year Obsession Revolutionized the Way We Sit

04/08/2026

Lower back pain affects 619 million people globally.
By 2050, that number is projected to reach 843 million.
It’s the leading cause of disability worldwide, ahead of every disease, every injury, every condition we spend billions trying to prevent.

Most of it happens sitting down.
āŒAt 90°, intradiscal pressure in the lumbar spine is roughly 40% higher than standing.

āŒThe natural S-curve flattens.

āŒThe pelvis tilts backward.

āŒThe muscles that support the lower back stop firing, and the discs absorb the load instead.

There is a way to sit that changes this.

āœ…An open hip angle of 115–120°, combined with forward pelvic rotation, brings spinal pressure close to what your body experiences standing.

āœ…The S-curve returns.

āœ…The load distributes the way it was designed to.

It’s not a stretch.
It’s not a standing desk.
It’s simply sitting in a position that works with your anatomy, not against it.

For anyone spending 6, 8, 10 hours a day seated, the chair isn’t a comfort decision.
It’s a health one.

The Vision Chair was built around that principle.

How long have you been sitting at 90° without questioning it?

The Vision Chair was designed to get you off that straight-up-and-down position and into something that actually feels natural for your body.
We call it Elevated Seating. Less strain, better posture, without even thinking about it.

It took 1 man and 40 years to change the way we sit.
Starting from 2021 we’ve been perfecting it as a Levitask team.
From a concept to the first chair that allows elevated seating.

It took 1 man and 40 years to change the way we sit.
His name is Klaus Ku**er.
As a boy, he learned craftsmanship in his grandfather’s workshop in West Germany.

He studied engineering, then Scandinavian design in Copenhagen, where he met a researcher who asked one question that changed everything:

ā€œHow did such an adverse form of sitting come to be regarded as correct?ā€
Referring to the 90-degree sitting position we’ve all been told is right.

That question became an obsession.
100+ prototypes.
4 patents.
Decades of refinement.

In 2018, Klaus presented the concept to the world’s biggest office furniture companies. Their answer? ā€œThe market isn’t ready. Come back in 5 to 10 years.ā€

So we said - fine. We’ll do it ourselves.

In 2021, Michael Gotfrid joined as co-founder and Levitask was born.
Built on one belief: that the way humans sit is broken, and we have the science and the solution to fix it.

The Vision Chair combines German engineering with Scandinavian design to restore the spine’s natural alignment — the way your body was actually built to sit.
It’s built. And soon - it’s going to be yours.

Most chairs force your body into 90° sitting.

The Vision Chair takes a different approach.

Its active sitting position locks the body into a 115° open angle, helping the pelvis rotate forward and supporting the spine’s natural alignment.

A small shift in angle, but a completely different way of sitting.

Think about your posture when you’re standing.
Your back has a natural curve, your pelvis is neutral, everything is balanced.
Now sit down in any chair, that’s gone.
Every chair puts you at 90° and your pelvis tilts backward. That’s why your back hurts.
At 115°, your pelvis returns to where it is when you stand. Your spine keeps its curve.
Your body stays aligned.
No chair in the market does this. Except one.

This is how your work day should start. ā˜•
Walk up.
Lift it up.
Sit in.
And feel the difference immediately.
The Vision is the world’s first chair built around Elevated Seating: a posture concept that bridges the gap between sitting and standing, so your body stays in its most natural alignment while you work.

Here’s what makes it different.
Most chairs force you into a rigid 90-degree angle that tilts your pelvis back, collapses your spine, and leaves you hunched by noon.
The Vision Chair does the opposite.
Its patent-pending T-Mech mechanism opens your sitting angle to around 115–120 degrees, gently rotating the pelvis forward, restoring the spine’s natural S-curve, and putting you in a posture that feels effortless.
Like standing, but seated.

That’s active sitting, your body stays engaged, balanced, and supported, without the fatigue of a standing desk or the strain of a traditional chair.
