Veterans Day means a lot more to me than ever before! 20 years of service and I couldn’t be prouder! I get more sappy as time goes on but it’s due to the fact that over time you see and experience a life full of daily interactions and lessons. Veterans Day marks a time in my life every year to be proud and reflect on what it actually means to serve our great country. It’s beyond words and pretty hard for me to share. It’s hard to reflect on some of the scariest times in my life and some of the best camaraderie you can experience. Life at home missed way too many times and the amazing feeling of being back in the arms of your loved ones. Sacrifices that matter no matter the cost, remaining steadfast no matter the current national sentiment, not letting a few outliers say who and what you represent as a service member defending freedom, being the best you can be, a heart of service, standing up for freedom in a way that most will never understand. Fellow vets, stand proud! We’re in this together, I love you all and will be there for anyone that needs it! Some of you are hurting, check on your battle buddy, it all matters, YOU MATTER!
