🔨 FROM ROT TO RESTORED! 🏠
This project was a BIG one!
What started as exterior damage turned into a full rebuild of the chimney chase. Once we opened it up, we found extensive water damage and rotten framing that needed to be addressed before anything could be covered back up.
We tore out the damaged material, rebuilt the framing, reinforced the structure, replaced damaged sheathing, added proper weather protection, coordinated the flashing, repaired the framing around the sliding door, installed the new sliding door, and finished everything back out with new siding and trim.
From exposed, damaged framing ➡️ to a clean, finished exterior.
This is why you can't always judge a house by what you see on the outside. Sometimes you have to open it up to find the real problem.

I had to step away from furniture for a bit to take care of a small project at home. Sometimes you have to put the shop on pause for a minute and handle what's in front of you.
